Lucknow, 15 August 2026: Surya Sainik School celebrated the 80th Independence Day with immense pride, patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The celebration was graced by Hon’ble Chief Guest Mr. Abhishek Pal, Pro Vice Chairman, along with Headmaster Mr. Amit Kumar Pal, Director of Cadet Excellence Sqn Ldr Rakhi Agarwal, School Coordinator Mr. S.V. Singh, teachers and cadets.

The celebration began with the hoisting of the Tricolour, followed by the National Anthem. The ceremonial March Past by the cadets showcased discipline, courage, coordination and team spirit.

The programme continued with a vibrant Patriotic Dance and the thought-provoking Nukkad Natak, “Swatantrata Ka Mahatva”, highlighting the sacrifices behind India’s freedom and the responsibility of citizens towards the nation.

The Chief Guest and Sqn Ldr Rakhi Agarwal addressed the cadets and inspired them to uphold the values of discipline, integrity, courage and dedication in the service of the nation. The Headmaster proposed the Vote of Thanks.

The celebration concluded with “Vande Mataram”, followed by the distribution of sweets among cadets and staff. The programme ended on a spirited note with the call of “Jai Hind!” and “Vande Mataram!”, reaffirming the commitment to build a developed India by 2047.
