On 25th July 2026, Surya Sainik School solemnly commemorated the 25th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas with a patriotic programme with the intonation of National Song, “VANDE MATRAM” and   honoured the courage and sacrifice of the heroes of the Kargil War.

The event commenced with an introduction to Kargil Vijay Diwas and the rendition of "Vande Mataram", followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Ganesh Vandana.

The Headmaster, Mr. Amit Kumar Pal, welcomed the Chief Guest, Captain Shatrughan Singh, Vir Chakra, and the Guest of Honour, Squadron Leader Rakhi Agarwal, by presenting them with saplings.

The programme featured a patriotic dance performance by the cadets, followed by inspiring addresses by the dignitaries and the Headmaster. Meritorious students were felicitated with certificates and medals for their achievements in the Uttar Pradesh Taekwondo Championship 2026.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. S. V. Singh, Coordinator, and the singing of the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired with renewed patriotism and pride.
